As the Senior Pastor of MPC, it’s been my privilege to serve this vibrant congregation for over 20 years. I believe that this church is blessed with the capacity to do truly great things with our amazing resources: our staff, our members, our volunteers. It is our goal to really love people to love Jesus Christ! My wife Patti and I are Ohio transplants and have four grown children; I love playing golf and watching Ohio State football, a challenge in a congregation of Gators and Seminoles.
I am excited to serve as Pastor of Congregational Care here at Mandarin Presbyterian Church. I am passionate about pastoral care and the privilege it is to walk alongside others in times of joy and need. As I serve in this capacity I look forward to equipping others to do the same. I value the importance of nurturing one’s faith and relationship with Christ, through small groups, Sunday school and Worship. I’m beyond thrilled to be able to serve in ministry, alongside my wife Jenn. We have been married for over 16 years and have three beautiful and active daughters, Jaden, Rylee, and Reese. I enjoy, time with family and friends, running, the outdoors, and football.

I am passionate about equipping the church and parents to fulfill the promises we make at baptism. We all have a critical role to play in loving our next generation to love Christ! My husband, Jeff, and I have three fabulous daughters, Jaden, Rylee, and Reese and have been married over 16 years.
As pastor of young adults and small group ministry I am passionate about igniting a desire to follow Christ in everyday life. I have seen God transform lives through small group ministry as people study Scripture, serve, worship, care, and have fun together! I am also thrilled to minister with college and young adults to develop in them an abiding relationship with Christ. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with my husband Chris in ministry to new members and adults. As a native of Seattle, I developed a love for hiking, biking, and the outdoors. I also enjoy painting, game nights, and a cup of tea with a book or a friend.
It is an honor to serve as the Director of Teaching and Adult Discipleship for this fun, loving community. I grew up in Dallas and have lived in New York, Princeton, and most recently Indianapolis. I am very excited to live near the beach for the first time! My ministry is discipleship – equipping and sending our community to be Christ’s hands and feet wherever they are. I oversee Adult Education, Men’s Ministry, and work with my wife Jessica on Young Adult ministry and new member classes. My greatest passion and goal is for disciples of Jesus to become “rooted and built up in him and established in the faith.” (Colossians 2:7) Jessica and I have been married three years, and I am thankful everyday that she works across the hall from me. I love to read, play tennis and basketball, guitar and piano, and to spend time outdoors.
As the Director of Worship & Arts, I work to create and facilitate a relevant and authentic worship experience of various styles where people can encounter Jesus Christ. I lead the Sanctuary Choir, Praise Team, Praise Band, and oversee all other areas of adult and children’s music. I love talking about Jesus at Dive-In Sunday School, having fun at our Hang 10 program on Wednesday nights, and encouraging our wonderful small group leaders.
Being a youth guy means I do exactly what you think: sit around all day playing X-box and eating bon-bons. Just kidding; I eat Starburst. My job is awesome in that I get to do life with teens.
