Creative Arts Display:

We are privileged to have a rotating collection of art temporarily on display by several MPC members. Featured works can be seen in the lobby and along the back hallway of the West Campus building. Visit these pieces when you can!

Student Discovery:

Confirmation is about to begin for students in 7th – 12th grades who want to join the church and learn more about their faith. Classes start Feb. 5th and will be held Sundays at 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall. To register, contact Krista by email.

K-Kamp Summer Camp:

Summer Camp for kids completing 1st – 5th grades. June 24 – 28, 2012. Check out information at the K-Kamp web page.

High School Monday night CRAVE:

Meeting on Mondays of each week, 7 – 9 p.m.,on the East Campus.

Middle School Fruit Bowl:

Fruit Bowl 2012 is coming February 15. Visit our fruit bowl page to see video and what this event is all about!

Middle School Summer Mission Camp:

Hang out with friends, camp in the woods…make a difference! June 17 – 22, 2012. Reservations are required. Spots are limited. Deadline March 14. Click for details.

Middle School Daytona “Loco” Trip:

Mark your calendar for May 4-6. The Middle School Weekend Trip to Daytona is always the highlight of the year. Information, registration/insurance forms available at mandarinpres.com/daytona.

MPC Annual Golf Tournament

Our annual golf outing is back! March 12 at the Palencia Golf Club, you will again have the opportunity to enjoy a great day of golf, great friends and a great way to raise funds for the MPC Youth programs. Sign-up, invite your friends, sponsor a hole or a team. Registration forms will be available in the lobby of the West Campus beginning February 5. The Players Championship (TPC) presents ‘Chip in for Youth’

This is a unique fundraising initiative designed to raise funds for local youth-related organizations. MPC Youth Missions qualifies to participate. Please help support our High School Mission Trip to Costa Rica by purchasing your TPC tickets through us. Good Any One Day Grounds Tickets are available for only $40 per ticket (Daily Grounds Ticket regularly priced at $55). ‘Mulch 4 Missions’ Youth Fundraiser

This summer the high school program at Mandarin Presbyterian Church has the awesome privilege of going to Costa Rica for a one-week trip to construct, from the ground up, 2 homes,conduct sport camps for the children, and provide vacation Bible school for the children and their families. We ask that you purchase your mulch through our Mulch 4 Missions Youth Fundraiser. Visit our ‘Mulch 4 Missions’ webpage for details.

Men’s Fellowship Lunch

A group of men who get together for lunch and fellowship on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at Santioni’s Restaurant on San Jose Blvd. Contact Randy Hester for more information by email

Joy Group

JOY (Just Older Youth) meets the second Thursday of each month following that. This is a time when the Seniors age group get together for lunch, outings and fellowship. To find out more information on this group contact Jim Mittelstadt by email or call 260.0707.

Mandarin Food Bank

MPC collects donations of non-perishable food for the Mandarin Food Bank throughout the year. Please place your donations in the Food Bank bins in the lobby behind the Information Center or at the back entrances on Sunday mornings or bring them to the church office during the week. Their need is especially great at this time. Thank you for your support!

Lee Strobel’s “Faith Under Fire”

Have you ever wondered if the Christian message was reliable? Have you ever wondered if there was any way of verifying what the Bible claims? Have you ever shied away from talking about your faith because you weren’t sure you would be able to answer other people’s questions? If you’ve had questions about the reliability of the Christian faith or even if your just curious about what can be defended, come join us in Lee Strobel’s DVD study, “Faith Under Fire,” and let’s learn how to defend our faith together! Join MPC member Kristen Davis as she leads these discussions on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of February and March from 7-8:30 on the East Campus. Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University®

This program is offered at various times throughout the year. FPU educates you on how to get out of debt, and prosper from a Biblically based financial standpoint. Registration and enrollment is required for each class.  The current class is underway. The next class will be January 8 and registration is open now. Career Plan Redesign

Career Plan Redesign (CPR) is a seminar series for job seekers and college seniors. Are you looking for work and your search seems to have stalled, or do you expect your employer to downsize in 2012? You’re invited to attend this 5 week series beginning Saturday, January 21st from 9:00am – 1:00pm in KidSpace on the West Campus. Bring your lunch and see what CPR can do for you!

New Member Discovery Classes

Discovery Classes are open to all visitors who are seeking information about the Presbyterian Church in general and MPC in particular. After attending Discovery Classes, those interested in membership are invited to a New Member Dinner. The next classes are Feb. 12 and 19 and the New Member Dinner will be Feb. 26th. All begin at 6:30pm and are in Woody’s on the East Campus.
