2012 Mission Summer Camp for Middle Schoolers!
This summer, June 17 – 22, join us out in the wild! Hang with your friends, camp in the woods in tents and most importantly, come make a difference. We will be traveling to DogWood Acres Summer Camp in Vernon, FL. You can feel God all throughout DogWood Acres. Check out Dogwood Acres for yourself.
While there we will be immersed in the world of missions – taking trips during the day to various mission sites perfect for middle schoolers, learning about what it really means to serve, and getting our hands dirty to love others. We will also be immersed in the world of camp – sleeping in cabins right in the woods, dinner over the fire, swimming in the lake and pool, arts and crafts, archery, and many other all camp activities. Plus we will have plenty of times to grow closer to each other and to God through games, worship, and Bible study.
We will leave the church Sunday morning around 10am and return Friday afternoon. The cost for the camp is $299. However scholarship money is available and if you help out at one of our “work days” you can take off $100…which makes the cost for camp only $199. This is a terrific price for a week of camp that could change your child and impact those that he/she is able to serve.
Spots are limited. To register for camp, e-mail Krista Knott. Your spot is not secure until you also send your deposit of $100. Krista will then send you all of the necessary paperwork. Registration deadline is March 14th.
If you should have any questions you may e-mail us.
