‘Those Who Were There’
The old hymn asks us “were you there when they crucified my Lord?”… interesting question.
Few people would challenge the assertion that the crucifixion of Jesus changed the world forever. But how did one man dying like a
common criminal become the symbol of the largest religion in our world? For lent this year, let us stand next to and listen closely to those who were there…let us see and hear from the faces around the cross.
